DR. YUESHAN HU *
D.A.O.M., M.Med., Ph.D., L.Ac.
Dr. Yueshan Hu received his M.B. and M.Med. degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine from prestigious universities in China, and received his Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in United States.
Dr. Hu was an Assistant Professor at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) prior to coming to US. Dr. Hu worked as a Clinical Scientist at Avera McKennan Hospital for several years. Dr. Hu held multiple adjunct appointments including Visiting Professor at Guangzhou University of TCM, Visiting Professor at Guiyang University of TCM, Assistant Professor at Department of Psychiatry, University of South Dakota, and Assistant Professor at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, South Dakota State University.
Dr. Hu was certified as Diplomate of Chinese Herbology and Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology) by US National Certification Commission of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Currently, Dr. Hu holds his active license of acupuncture (L. Ac.) in multiple states.
As a Chinese Acupuncturist and Herbalist, Dr. Hu has many years of experience in practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine. His additional experiences in biomedical sciences and pharmaceutical sciences greatly help his practice of evidence-based and holistic Oriental Medicine.
Dr. Hu was the former president of Nebraska Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine.
