- Lily passed her examinations and was awarded Qualification of Acupuncture from the World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies in 2012.
- For 18 years Lily worked at the Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Hubei General Hospital in the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion.
- Lily is a licensed massage and bodywork therapist in North Carolina.
- She is trained in tui-na (pronounced twee-nah) massage. It is a form of Chinese massage that dates back to 2700 B.C.; it is believed to be the oldest system of bodywork and is one of the four main branches of traditional Chinese medicine.
